I am in love. Styling wise, I would take it over a stock E63 T and definitely over the unclassy RS6.
Let's say it looks as good as a

The XF-RS drives pretty well too. Too bad the interior build quality is abysmal.

I don't really like it.. I find it quite obnoxious / obvious, especially the bumpers / rims / color. A Jag should be classier.

It is obnoxious for a Jag, but not obnoxious if you look at the cars in its class. The RS6 looks like a bad caricature of a power wagon, including a font-size-300 quattro logo in the front. I would say it is as understated as a E63.

They are all (E63s, RS6) obnoxious.
You have to choose the right mix of colours, wheels and optionals.
A slate grey XF-RS it is better:

Yes and no...
A phase 1 W212 is way more understated. Even that slate grey car has a trunk lip, red calipers, huge bi-color rims, large side skirts, etc.
This is not obnoxious:

Wait.. what? Abysmal build quality?
We haven't driven the same XF then...

I agree: I hate red\yellow callipers on sedans\estates and bicolor wheels.
Lately it seems that the more brash the better: it is possible to just minimize this using the right combo.

Too much Ill fitting plastic. Drive one with 20k miles and see. Most cars are nice for the first 5k miles.

The one I drove had nearly 30k miles and you couldn't hear a single rattle, even at 140+mph.
Maybe the trim level helped though, this one was a Premium Luxury (the trim level right under Portfolio).
